At Organic Tuscany we take you to see the farms where we buy many of our ingredients. You eat at one of the farm restaurants. At another, you can buy wonderful artisanal cheeses, pasta and olive oil to take home.

In our hands-on cooking classes, we transform this fresh, local produce into traditional Tuscan and Italian recipes: fresh pastas, hearty salads, the perfect risotto and delectable Italian desserts. Some of the cooking courses are fully vegetarian and all the others can easily be made vegetarian friendly.

A cooking school and much more

The cooking school is located between Florence and Siena: one of the most beautiful landscapes in Italy. As well as seeing stunning countryside, we explore the medieval cities in the area, and investigate the regional culinary traditions of great food and wine through meals and tastings.

On your free evenings, you can choose whether to investigate the great local trattorie, or stay at home on the farm and relax with a good Chianti, fabulous local tomatoes and delicious local organic cheeses.

Cooking courses which
explore local traditions

The accommodation will be on a gorgeous, lovingly restored farm which has 6 hectares of olive groves and vineyards. Some of the rooms we will occupy will be frescoed rooms in the elegant manor house, others in a charming cottage next to the ancient oil press. The cooking classes will take place on site, in a spacious, sunny ground floor kitchen in what used to be the wine-making cellar.

The farm has been recently and lovingly restored. Five full years of sustainable conservation work recovered unique architectural features and discovered and restored frescoes. Electricity and heat are generated using renewable sources.

Outside, you can enjoy the charming gardens and beautiful natural swimming pool, or walk down to the estate's olive groves.
Tuscany: what better place to relax, soak up Italian culture and learn to cook some authentically delicious dishes?!
One day cooking class

One-day classes

For those of you who will be in the area and would like to have a little taste of Organic Tuscany, we offer one-day cooking classes from our instructors' delightful villa home in the Chianti region. This makes an ideal day-trip from Florence or Siena.
